How it purifies the air: air is drawn to Snowflake where it goes thru the H13 Hepa filter ➔ Activated Carbon ➔
Cold Catalyst ➔ UV Light ➔ releases Polar Ions
1. H13 Hepa Filter - this medical grade filter traps particles larger than 0.3 microns. The use of H13 Hepa filter is an effective and proven method to reduce allergens, dust, and other particulate matter including PM 2.5.
2. Activated Carbon Filter - A filter that absorb chemicals, odors and volatile organic compounds / VOCs (emitted as gasses from certain solids or liquids. For example - cleaning supplies, pesticides, office equipment like copiers and printers). The use of Activated Carbon Filter is an effective and proven method to remove chemical gasses and heavy odors from the air.
3. Cold Catalyst Filter- a filter that removes airborne formaldehyde.
4. UV Light - a disinfection method that uses short-wavelength ultraviolet (UV-C) light. This method kills or inactivates microorganisms like bacteria, mold, and viruses.
5. Polar Ionization – this is a process when carbon brush nodes split water vapor in the ambient air turning it into polarized ions which are dispersed in an area. This is an effective and proven method to reduce allergens, dust, PM 2.5, bacteria, mold, viruses, static, and VOCs. It does not require air to pass through its chamber in order to be effective. It also removes concern of incomplete oxidation and slow airflow rates.
*PM stands for particulate matter (also called particle pollution): the term for a mixture of solid particles and liquid droplets found in the air. Some particles, such as dust, dirt, soot, or smoke, are large or dark enough to be seen with the naked eye. Others are so small they can only be detected using an electron microscope.
