Precept Hygiene Donates Insect Light Traps To A School in Las Piñas

Precept Hygiene showed support to dengue awareness month last June by donating two dengue buster units to Almanza Elementary School – TS Cruz Annex. Paul Michael Garcia, Precept Hygiene president handed the insect light traps to Mrs. Susana Montas, Almanza Elementary School – TS Cruz Annex school principal.

Ensuring the safety of the children in the school from dengue-carrying mosquito is Precept Hygiene’s aim with the installation of an M-5 and P-2 mosquito traps. Both of these units can lure mosquitoes in three ways: CO2, UV light and heat. Once the mosquitoes come near the units, a powerful fan draws them into the collection chamber and kills them.

Precept Hygiene will continue to contribute insect light traps as part of their advocacy of helping the children from public schools stay dengue free. This is also made possible by Precept Hygiene’s clients since a percentage of every sold unit is set aside to pay for the insect light traps donated to public schools. Clients will be glad to know that a percentage of their payment for their unit goes to a worthy cause.
